Steaks a la Mexicana

This classic of Mexican cuisine is super practical and easy to prepare, using ingredients you surely have in your kitchen, such as tomato, white onion, and serrano chili. We recommend marinating it with Knorr® beef seasoning, as it gives a unique touch to the recipe.

  • 1 1/2 tablespoons Knorr® beef bouillon
  • 6 beefsteaks
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1/2 onions, sliced
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 2 serrano chiles, cut into strips
  • 2 tomatoes, chopped without seeds
  • 1/2 cups water

  • Sprinkle the steaks with 1 tablespoon of Knorr® beef broth.
  • In a pot, heat 1 tablespoon of oil and fry the steaks one by one, set aside.
  • Pour in the remaining oil and sauté the onion, garlic, and chili for 2 minutes.
  • Add the tomato and cook for 3 more minutes.
  • Add the steaks, water, and 1/2 tablespoon more of Knorr® beef broth.
  • Cover and cook for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally to integrate all the ingredients.
