Stuffed Potatoes with Meat Sauce

  • 3 potatoes, cooked
  • 12 slices bacon, finely chopped
  • 4 tablespoons onion, finely chopped
  • 500 grams ground beef
  • 1 green bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 orange bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 red bell pepper, finely chopped
  • 1 jar Prego® sauce with meat
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 cup cheddar cheese, grated
  • sour cream
  • chives, for garnish

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • On a wooden board, cut the potatoes in half, and use a spoon to hollow them out, reserving what you removed.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, cook the bacon. Remove excess fat, add the onion, ground beef, and cook for a few minutes.
  • Add the bell peppers and the reserved potato. Pour in the Prego® meat sauce and cook for 5 more minutes.
  • Stuff the potatoes with cheddar cheese, add the previous preparation, and bake for 10 minutes.
  • Garnish with cream and green onion.
