Stuffed Tomatoes with Meat and Rice

A typical Middle Eastern recipe, tomatoes are stuffed with a mixture of rice and ground meat and cooked in a tamarind sauce.

500 grams ground meat
1/6 cups short grain white rice
1 tablespoon baharat
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
1 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon white pepper
1/2 white onions, finely chopped
1/2 cups pine nuts
12 tomatoes, Remove the filling and seeds.
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
3 tablespoons lime juice
3 tablespoons tamarind concentrate
2 tablespoons sugar

Soak the rice in water for 30 minutes. Remove from the water.
Mix in a bowl the rice, ground meat, Arabic spice, vegetable oil, cinnamon, pepper, salt, onion, and pine nuts.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius.
Stuff the tomatoes with the ground meat and rice mixture. Place them in a baking dish or a roaster.
In a deep bowl, mix the lemon juice, tamarind concentrate, vegetable oil, and sugar. Pour the mixture over the tomatoes.
Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake for 40 minutes. Remove the aluminum foil and bake for 10 more minutes.
Remove from the oven and serve.
