SuKarne French Style Beef Sandwich

A delicious version of the famous French Dip sandwich, in which the meat sandwich is served with a little of its juice for dipping.

  • 1 package SuKarne® shredded beef
  • 2 tablespoons salt
  • 1/2 tablespoons pepper
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 3 cups beef broth
  • 1 onion, slice
  • 1 shallot, chopped
  • 2 baguettes
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour

  • Lightly fry the shredded meat, then remove the meat.
  • Pour in the wine and scrape the bottom to deglaze, let it thicken for 2 minutes and return the meat.
  • Add the onion, beef broth, and mix. Let it reduce until you get a thick broth.
  • Strain the juice that remains around the meat and if necessary, thicken by melting the butter and flour, then add the juice and whisk with a balloon whisk.
  • Cut the bread, fill it with the meat, and serve with the juice.
  • Serve with some cheese or vegetables.
