The Best Burger

  • 900 grams veal, minced or lean beef steak
  • 2 onions, finely chopped
  • 25 grams breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons thyme, finely diced

  • Preheat the grill.
  • Place the meat, breadcrumbs, egg, and thyme in a large glass bowl and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything well with your hands.
  • Form 6 burgers using your hands. A knife can be used to shape the sides.
  • Grill the burgers on high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side. Meanwhile, slice the buns in half and toast them slightly on the grill.
  • To serve, add thinly sliced onions, sliced tomatoes, mayonnaise, mustard, and ketchup so everyone can prepare their burger to taste.
