900 grams veal, minced or lean beef steak
2 onions, finely chopped
25 grams breadcrumbs
1 egg, lightly beaten
1 1/2 teaspoons thyme, finely diced

Preheat the grill.
Place the meat, breadcrumbs, egg, and thyme in a large glass bowl and season with salt and pepper to taste. Mix everything well with your hands.
Form 6 burgers using your hands. A knife can be used to shape the sides.
Grill the burgers on high heat for 3-4 minutes on each side. Meanwhile, slice the buns in half and toast them slightly on the grill.
To serve, add thinly sliced onions, sliced tomatoes, mayonnaise, mustard, and ketchup so everyone can prepare their burger to taste.
