Easy Turkey Breast

Prepare this delicious turkey breast, follow the instructions and you'll see how quick and tasty it is. This Christmas, if you don’t have much time to prepare a main dish, this is the option to surprise everyone.

  • 3 kilos bone-in turkey breast
  • 3 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon fresh rosemary, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons coarse salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper, freshly ground
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 1/2 cups white wine
  • 6 blueberries, for garnish

  • Preheat the oven to 160ºC.
  • Place the turkey breast on a baking dish.
  • Mix in a bowl the garlic, mustard, herbs, olive oil, and lemon juice. Season with salt and pepper.
  • Once the mixture has a pasty consistency, use your fingers to add the herb sauce between the skin and the meat.
  • Spread all the remaining paste over the skin of the turkey breast (on top).
  • Add the wine to the dish where the turkey breast is placed.
  • Place the turkey breast in the oven for 2 hours (it all depends on each oven).
  • The skin will look golden and it will be cooked inside. If not, cover the turkey with aluminum foil and wait until it is cooked inside.
  • Remove the turkey from the oven and cover with aluminum foil for 10 minutes.
  • Slice and serve with the juices released by the turkey breast.
