Turkey Tinga Tostadas

With this tostada recipe, you can make the most of your holiday turkey and have the perfect leftovers. These turkey tinga tostadas are easy and quick to make, as you only need to follow three steps for preparation, which will take you about 30 minutes.

  • 1/4 onions, for the sauce
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, for the sauce
  • 6 tomatoes, for the sauce
  • 5 chipotle chiles in adobo sauce, for the sauce
  • 1 cup chicken broth, for the sauce
  • 1 1/2 cups onion, in strips, for the tinga
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped, for the tinga
  • 2 cups turkey, cooked and shredded, for the tinga
  • salt, for the tinga
  • pepper, for the tinga
  • 1 package Charras® original flavor yellow tostadas
  • lettuce, in strips, for the tostadas
  • sour cream, for the tostadas
  • queso fresco, crumbled, for the tostadas
  • red onion, pickled, for the tostadas

  • For the sauce, blend the onion, garlic, tomato, adobo chipotle pepper, and chicken broth until you have a smooth mixture.
  • In a small pot with hot oil over medium heat, sauté the onion with the garlic until they change color, add the shredded turkey and brown for a few minutes. Stir in the tomato chipotle sauce and season with salt and pepper. Cook for 10 minutes. Set aside.
  • On a piece of Tostadas Charras® yellow original flavor, place lettuce, add the turkey tinga, and top with plenty of sour cream, fresh cheese, and pickled onion. Serve.
