1 zucchini, grated Italian cheese or very finely chopped
1 carrot, grated or very finely chopped
1 potato, small grated or very finely chopped
1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
1 egg
salt, to season
1/2 cups breadcrumbs, (if necessary)
2 cups tomato sauce, seasoned
pepper, to season

Mix the meat with the onion, garlic, rice; the vegetables, parsley, and the egg.
Season with salt and pepper to taste and knead a little with your hand until you obtain a homogeneous mixture. If the mixture sticks too much to your hands, add a little bread crumbs.
Form small balls with the help of a small spoon. Set aside.
Heat the tomato sauce and add the meatballs.
Cover and cook over medium heat for 20 minutes. Serve.
