Christmas chocolate house

Christmas is the best time of the year, as it is the perfect occasion to bake with family. On this occasion, we share this recipe for chocolate house, which is made with chocolate cake, Hershey’s dark chocolate baking bar ganache, gingerbread cookies, and wafers. This Christmas house is the ideal dessert for family celebrations!

  • 1 Hershey's chocolate pancake
  • 3 Hershey's Dark Chocolate Pastry Bar
  • 2 cups whipping cream, hot
  • ginger cookies, in the shape of a doll
  • ginger cookies, in the shape of a star
  • 1 ginger cookies, small rectangle
  • 6 ginger cookies, small squares
  • royal icing
  • ladyfingers
  • vanilla frosting
  • icing sugar

  • Cut the cake, leveling the top so you can form the roof of the house. Cut the side to make it smooth and thus form the walls.
  • In a bowl, add the Hershey’s dark chocolate baking bars and hot whipped cream. Use a whisk to mix and melt the chocolate completely. Refrigerate the ganache for 10 minutes.
  • Divide the chocolate and set aside half. Use a spatula to cover the entire cake with half of the chocolate until smooth. Refrigerate for 20 minutes.
  • For the cookies: Draw the eyes, mouth, and hands of the gingerbread dolls with royal icing. Set aside.For the stars: Cover the cookies with royal icing.For the door: Draw the edges with royal icing and a dot for the doorknob.For the windows: Cover the edges and draw a cross in the middle.
  • Attach the gingerbread door and windows with the chocolate ganache. Then, place snow on the roof of the gingerbread house using vanilla frosting. Finally, sprinkle with powdered sugar.
  • Place the Christmas gingerbread house on a board and decorate with the other cookies.
