  • 4 tomatoes, roasts
  • 1/4 onions, roasted
  • 1 clove garlic, roast
  • 1/4 cinnamon sticks, roasted
  • 3 cloves, roasts
  • salt

  • 1/4 cups beef broth
  • vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 kilo ground beef
  • 3/4 cups almonds, sliced
  • 3/4 cups walnuts, finely chopped
  • 3/4 cups dried cranberries
  • 1 kilo puff pastry
  • 1 egg
  • coarse salt

  • Blend the tomatoes, onion, garlic, cinnamon, cloves, and beef broth until you obtain a slightly thick sauce. Set aside.
  • Heat a little oil in a pan and sauté the onion and garlic for 3 minutes. Add the ground meat and cook for 3 more minutes or until it starts to change color, season with salt and pepper. Add the blended tomatoes and cook for 5 minutes. Incorporate the almonds, walnuts, and cranberries. Mix, remove from heat, and let cool.
  • Sprinkle a flat surface with flour and roll out the puff pastry to form a rectangle, fill it with the meat, and close it by braiding the dough.Place the filled puff pastry on a baking tray, brush with egg, and sprinkle with coarse salt. Bake at 180 °C for 45 minutes or until well cooked.
  • Serve the Christmas puff pastry ring and accompany it with mixed salad.
