  • In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt until combined. Set aside.
  • Use a mixer to combine the milk, egg, shortening, and vanilla. Then, add the flour mixture and mix until you achieve a homogeneous and slightly sticky consistency.
  • Divide the dough into equal portions and shape them into balls. Place the dough balls on a previously floured and greased baking sheet, cover, and let rest for 30 minutes.Roll out the dough, form medium circles, and let rest for another 10 minutes.
  • Start frying the fritters over medium-high heat for 3 minutes or until they are golden and crispy. Remove excess grease with paper towels.
  • Coat the fritters in cinnamon sugar, ensuring they are perfectly covered.
  • Serve a fritter, add a bit of guava jam, and pair it with Sidral Mundet® Apple flavor.
