Turkey Lasagna

  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 1/2 cups onion, finely chopped
  • 1 cup nuts
  • 1/4 cups walnuts, finely chopped
  • 1/4 cups almonds, sliced
  • 4 cups turkey, cooked and shredded

  • 1/3 cups white wine
  • 1 1/2 cups tomato sauce
  • 2 cups salt
  • 1 package Lasagne Barilla® Collezione 250 g
  • 3 cups Mozzarella cheese, grated

  • Melt the butter in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and onion and cook until the onion turns translucent. Add the nuts, walnuts, and almonds, mix, and incorporate the turkey.
  • Season with salt and pepper, pour in the white wine, and cook for 3 minutes or until it reduces. Then, add the tomato sauce, cook for 5 minutes, and adjust the seasoning. Set aside.
  • To assemble the lasagna: pour a bit of the white sauce into a greased baking dish. Place the Lasagne Barilla® Collezione 250 g, cover with some sauce, add the turkey mixture, and sprinkle with mozzarella cheese. Repeat the same procedure until finished and place a layer of cheese on top.
  • Bake the lasagna at 180 °C for 20 minutes.
  • Serve the lasagna for leftovers and accompany with a refreshing drink.
