Butterfly French Toast

Decorate this French toast in an easy and quick way and surprise the little ones at home.

  • 1 egg
  • 2 slices wholemeal bread
  • 1/3 cups cow's milk
  • 50 grams unsalted butter
  • 50 grams maple syrup
  • sugar , to taste
  • cinnamon
  • 1 banana

  • In a deep plate, crack the egg and pour in the milk, mix with a fork.
  • Place a small skillet on the heat with half a tablespoon of butter, when it heats up, reduce the heat to medium.
  • Soak the bread on both sides in the egg and milk mixture.
  • Fry and coat with granulated sugar and cinnamon before it cools so it sticks well.
  • Cut a banana and decorate with honey as shown in the photo.
