These Muppet vanilla cupcakes are perfect for any children's party or just to treat the little ones. Decorate the cupcakes with delicious vanilla frosting and use fondant to create the different characters from the Muppets movie.
Preheat the oven to 170ºC and prepare the cupcake molds.
In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, beat 1/2 cup of butter until fluffy, add the sugar and beat until well combined, adding one egg at a time.
Gradually add the flour mixture to the butter until fully incorporated. Add one tablespoon of vanilla and mix for 2 minutes.
Divide the batter into the cupcake molds and bake for 10 minutes or until done. Let them cool before frosting.
Once cooled, use a piping bag to frost all the cupcakes with vanilla frosting, and place them in the refrigerator while finishing the fondant decorations.
Divide the fondant into different colors and shape the Muppet characters.
Place the face of each character on top of the frosting on the cupcakes and you're done!
