Medium
Prepare two large baking sheets with wax paper.
In a large pot, mix the sugar, salt, butter, and 1 cup of water.
Cook for 15 minutes, making sure to stir continuously with a wooden spoon. The mixture will turn into a thick caramel.
Quickly remove the caramel from the heat and add the baking soda. This will cause the caramel to start bubbling and cool down faster.
Immediately add the popcorn to the caramel and mix well with a wooden spoon.
Spread the caramel popcorn onto the baking sheets and let cool.
As soon as it is cool, cut into small pieces with your hands.
Stir the caramelized popcorn with candy corn, pretzels (cut), and chocolate chips.
