SpongeBob Cereal Pops

Invite your kids to help you in the kitchen making these beautiful puffed rice and marshmallow pops. They are perfect if you have guests or want to give a lovely gift.

  • 180 grams puffed rice
  • 300 grams marshmallows, white
  • 30 grams butter
  • 1/2 kilos white chocolate
  • gel food coloring, red, yellow, black, brown

  • Melt the butter in the microwave along with the marshmallows in 10-second intervals, stirring until fully combined and melted.
  • In a bowl, place the cereal and add the marshmallow mixture, stirring until everything is combined.
  • Divide the mixture into 12 parts and shape them by hand into the square shape of SpongeBob, being very careful as the mixture will still be hot; let it cool.
  • Melt the white chocolate in the microwave and divide it to color according to the colors to be used. The majority should be colored with yellow dye.
  • Temper the chocolate. Insert the stick into each cereal square and dip it into the yellow chocolate mixture. Let it cool for 5 minutes in the refrigerator or until completely hard.
  • Cover half with white chocolate for the shirt, and let it cool.
  • Then cover the other half with brown chocolate and let it cool. For the belt, tie, and eyes, you can use fondant.
