  • 2 pounds sweet potato, boiled with salt and cinnamon
  • 1 cup water, from the cooking of the sweet potato
  • 1 can evaporated milk, (large)
  • 1 1/2 cans condensed milk , (large)
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 1/2 cups raisins

  • Blend the sweet potato using the reserved liquid, along with the evaporated milk, strain the mixture. Add the condensed milk, vanilla, and raisins. Simmer, stirring occasionally until the desired consistency is achieved. Serve cold or hot in bowls and sprinkle ground cinnamon on top.
  • Let cool and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
