2 1/4 tablespoons baking powder
1 1/4 tablespoons salt
2 1/4 sticks unsalted butter, at room temperature
6 eggs
1 tablespoon vanilla essence
1 1/4 cups cow's milk
1 package cream cheese, for the frosting
1/2 cups unsalted butter, for the frosting
1 cup icing sugar, for the frosting
1 tablespoon vanilla essence, for the frosting
red food coloring
green food coloring, for the frosting
250 grams chocolate chips

Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Prepare the cupcake trays with the liners.
Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt.
In an electric mixer, beat the butter and sugar until fluffy. Add the eggs and vanilla and mix well.
Add the flour mixture and milk and beat until you have a smooth batter. Then add one or two drops of artificial red food coloring and mix well.
Add the chocolate chips to the mixture.
Pour the batter into the cupcake liners and bake for 20 minutes. Remove from the oven and let cool.
While the cupcakes are baking, prepare the frosting by beating the cream cheese, powdered sugar, butter, and vanilla extract in an electric mixer.
Add 1 drop of green food coloring to the frosting and finish mixing.
Once the cupcakes and frosting are ready, decorate the cupcakes with the frosting and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
