Tamales are our favorites and these will be no exception with their exquisite Abuelita® chocolate flavor that no one can resist, being a favorite of Mexican families; they are an excellent option to enjoy with a cup of coffee.
2 tablets Abuelita® Mexican chocolate, 90 g each chopped
1 egg
2 cups oats, ground
3 tablespoons wheat flour
1 tablespoon baking powder
15 corn husks, soaked in hot water
50 grams pecans
50 grams shredded coconut

Beat the butter until smooth and add La LECHERA® condensed milk with Abuelita® chocolate for table use, the egg, oats, flour, and baking powder, previously sifted.
Place two to three tablespoons in each tamale leaf, add a bit of nuts and coconut, and wrap them in a way that the mixture doesn’t spill out
Arrange the tamales in a steamer and cook in a water bath for 35 minutes. Remove and serve
