Almonjavena

  • 2 cups water
  • 1 cup sunflower oil
  • 3 cups flour
  • 4 handfuls sugar
  • 1 cinnamon
  • 6 eggs
  • unsalted butter , to taste

  • Bring the water and oil to a boil.
  • When it starts to boil, remove from heat and add the flour.
  • Mix the dough very well and let it cool.
  • Add the eggs one by one, mixing very well before adding the next egg.
  • Preheat the oven to 200ºC.
  • Grease a large square baking dish with butter, spread the dough, and sprinkle plenty of sugar and cinnamon on top.
  • 17 minutes in the oven and enjoy.
