Apples with popcorn

  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup water of roses
  • 2 tablespoons glucose syrup
  • red food coloring, heat-resistant
  • 10 red apples, small
  • 2 tablespoons corn oil
  • 100 grams corn, popping corn
  • 100 grams sugar

  • In a saucepan, combine the sugar with water, glucose, and red coloring. Mix and heat.
  • Cook until reaching 150°C.
  • Pierce the apples with a skewer and dip in the syrup.
  • Then coat with the popcorn and let cool.
  • Place the oil in a deep pot with a lid and heat it, add the corn and sugar.
  • Cover and cook, shaking the pot, until the corn pops and the popcorn forms.
  • Remove from heat, spread out on a tray, and let cool.
