This typical Mexican dessert originating from Puebla is made with sweet potatoes, sugar, butter, cinnamon, cream, and raisins. The dessert can be decorated with walnuts or raisins.
In a pot of boiling water, cook the sweet potatoes for 25 minutes or until tender.
Remove the sweet potato from the water and mash it. Mix with the butter, sugar, cinnamon, cream, raisins, and orange zest.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Place the puree in a greased round baking dish and decorate with the walnut. Bake for 10 minutes. Remove from the oven.
