Banana Almond Bread

  • 2 cups oats
  • 2 cups whole-wheat flour
  • 1/2 cups brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/4 cups chocolate chips
  • 2 cups Plant Revolution® original almond milk
  • 2 bananas, mashed
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 3 tablespoons butter, or melted coconut oil
  • 1/2 cups almonds, sliced

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • In a bowl, combine the oats with the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, and chocolate chips.
  • In another bowl, combine the original Plant Revolution® almond milk with the banana, egg, and vanilla. Gradually add the margarine while continuing to beat.
  • Add the previous mixture to the oat mixture and beat until well combined.
  • Pour into a greased and floured brownie pan, spread with a spoon, and top with the almonds.
  • Bake for about 25 minutes or until cooked through. Cool and cut into bars.
