Banana Squares

A different dessert of banana squares. It is a very nutritious dessert; bananas have many health benefits, and what better way to eat them than in a different way.

  • 3 ripe bananas
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 cups sugar
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cups nut , chopped
  • 1/2 cups cajeta , liquid

  • The bananas are mashed and placed in a bowl. Eggs are added and beaten until frothy. SET ASIDE.
  • The flour, sugar, salt, and baking soda are sifted 3 times and gently incorporated into the banana mixture until everything is well integrated.
  • The walnuts are integrated. The entire mixture is poured into a previously greased and floured square mold and baked at 175°C for 50 minutes.
  • Once ready, it is taken out of the oven and allowed to cool covered with a cloth at room temperature.
  • Once cooled, it is cut into regular-sized squares and placed in paper cups.
