Birthday Cake

This vanilla cake recipe is perfect and delicious to surprise the birthday person.

  • 3 cups flour
  • 1/2 cups milk
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla essence
  • 2 cups whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt

  • Preheat the oven to 180 °C, grease and flour a baking pan.
  • Sift the flour, salt, and baking powder.
  • In a bowl, cream the butter with the sugar, then add the eggs. Incorporate the dry ingredients and the vanilla, mixing everything perfectly.
  • Pour the mixture into the pan and bake for 50 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.
  • Remove and let cool.
  • Whip the cream until you get a firm mixture, then spread it over the cake.
