  • Preheat the oven to 160°C.
  • Place the butter in the mixer and cream it (we know it's ready when it turns pale).
  • Add the powdered sugar at low speed, and once these two ingredients are somewhat integrated, you can increase the speed.
  • Add the two eggs and the salt. Continue mixing until a homogeneous mixture is formed.
  • Finally, add the flour and mix until the dough forms and pulls away from the sides of the mixing bowl. If you notice that the dough is too sticky, you can gradually add a little more flour, but don’t add too much.
  • Once the dough is ready, transfer it to a work surface where you will divide it in two and wrap it in plastic wrap, then place it in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
  • After the refrigeration time has passed, take your dough out of the refrigerator and between two pieces of wax paper to keep them smooth, begin to roll out your dough until it reaches a minimum thickness of 6 millimeters.
  • Cut with your favorite cookie cutters and place them in the oven for about 10 to 15 minutes. Remember that each oven is different, so you can check them and they will be ready when the edges are slightly golden; the cooking time will also depend on the size and thickness of your cookies.
  • Once you take them out of the oven, let them cool on a rack and they will be ready to decorate and taste!!!!
