Butter Sugar Cookies

  • Pam® butter, butter-flavored canola oil spray
  • 2 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 cup light margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  • Beat the margarine with the sugar in the mixer until smooth. Add the egg, vanilla, and continue mixing until combined.
  • Place the flour in a bowl, make a well in the center, add the margarine-sugar mixture, and mix it with your fingers only until the dough comes together. Divide the dough in half, wrap in plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  • Roll out the first half of the dough with a lightly floured rolling pin on a floured surface.
  • Spray a baking sheet with 2 sprays of PAM® Butter, cut out circles, and place them on the sheet, leaving 3 cm between each cookie.
  • Bake the cookies for 15 minutes.
