1 kilo icing sugar
500 grams butter, Cream cheese
500 grams vegetable shortening
1 tablespoon vanilla essence, or the flavor of your choice
1 tablespoon meringue powder

Beat the butter or cream cheese with the vegetable shortening until it reaches a creamy consistency. They should be at room temperature.
Gradually incorporate the powdered sugar along with the meringue powder. Do this with a hand mixer until all the sugar is incorporated.
Add the essence until it has a good flavor. You can add up to 3 tablespoons.
