Butterfinger Panna Cotta Nests

This recipe is a delicious panna cotta nest dessert with Butterfinger for you to enjoy with your whole family. Surprise them with a variety of flavors and pair with coffee.

  • 3 tablespoons water of roses
  • 1 envelope unflavored gelatin
  • 1 can evaporated milk
  • 1/4 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1/3 cups buttermilk, Nestle Butterfinger Bites Candy, crushed
  • 1 cup grated sweet coconuts
  • 4 drops vegetable coloring , green food coloring
  • 2 drops yellow food coloring, for food

  • FOR THE PANNA COTTA:
  • Grease four 6-ounce or 4-ounce sturdy molds.
  • Put the water in a small bowl and add the gelatin. Let it sit to dissolve.
  • Combine the evaporated milk, sugar, and vanilla extract in a small saucepan. Heat over medium heat, stirring frequently for 5 minutes or until the sugar has dissolved.
  • Turn off the heat and add the gelatin mixture, stirring gently to dissolve the gelatin.
  • Pour into the prepared molds and add the crushed Butterfinger.
  • Refrigerate for 2 hours or until the panna cottas are set.
  • FOR THE NESTS:
  • Place the coconut in a plastic bag. Add the green and yellow food coloring. Seal the bag and shake well to mix.
  • If necessary, add 1 to 2 teaspoons of water to help the color blend.
  • Place the grass of coconut on top of the panna cottas and add 1 to 2 unwrapped chocolate eggs.
