Almond and Chocolate Cake

If you like almonds, this is the perfect cake. !!!No flour!!!

  • 250 grams bittersweet chocolate
  • 300 grams almonds
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 14 eggs
  • 1/2 liters chantilly cream
  • 1 cup powdered sugar

  • Boil the almonds to soften the skin. Remove the skin from the almonds and grind them.
  • Grate the chocolate.
  • Separate the yolks and egg whites. Combine the yolks with the sugar, almond, and chocolate.
  • Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form. Fold the yolk mixture into the egg whites.
  • Pour the mixture into two circular molds. Pre-greased and floured.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180ºC for 20 minutes.
  • Frosting: Whip cream with powdered sugar until thickened.
  • Spread the frosting between the two cake layers (like a sandwich) and on top.
