Cupcake Cakes

Cupcake cakes are very easy to make and you can decorate them however you prefer, use your imagination and create a cupcake cake that children will love.

  • 2 cups flour
  • 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 cups butter
  • 1 cup sugar, refined
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 cup cow's milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 4 cups icing sugar
  • 1/2 cups vegetable shortening
  • food coloring, colored
  • 2 vanilla frosting
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • rainbow sprinkles

  • Preheat the oven to 170°C and prepare the cupcake molds by placing a liner for each one.
  • In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, beat the 1/2 cup of butter until fluffy, add the sugar and beat until well combined, then add one egg at a time.
  • Start gradually incorporating the flour mixture into the butter until fully combined. Add one tablespoon of vanilla and mix for 2 minutes.
  • Divide the batter into the cupcake mold and bake for 10 minutes or until ready. Let cool before adding the frosting.
  • Arrange the cupcakes in any shape you prefer, you can make a figure or place them in a rectangular shape to draw with colored frosting in any design you like.
