Chocolate and Strawberry Cake

Delicious flourless Chocolate cake with intense flavor that can be served with cream and red fruits.

  • 300 bittersweet chocolates, chopped
  • 200 grams unsalted butter , softened
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla essence
  • 6 eggs , Separate the egg yolks from the egg whites
  • 185 milliliters water
  • 200 grams sugar
  • red fruit compote, to taste
  • powdered sugar, to taste

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C and grease a 23 cm pan, preferably a non-stick cake pan. In a bowl, mix the chocolate, sugar, butter at room temperature, egg yolks, and vanilla extract. Add the boiling water and mix until everything is well combined.
  • In another bowl, beat the 6 egg whites until stiff peaks form. Then, gently fold in the previous mixture in three parts. Pour into the pan and bake for 50 minutes.
  • Once cooled, unmold and sprinkle with powdered sugar and decorate with red strawberries of your choice.
