Chocolate Cake and Tia Maria

Try this delicious chocolate cake with Tia Maria; it doesn’t contain flour. It’s a delightful recipe for a different and original dessert.

  • 2 1/4 cups 70% cocoa chocolate
  • 1 cup FAGE® Total 0% greek style yogurt
  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 5 tablespoons corn syrup
  • 1/3 cups coffee liqueur
  • 1/3 cups strong coffee
  • 1 cup dried fruit, and broken cookies

  • Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
  • In another bowl, lightly whip the cream and then gently fold in the FAGE® Total 0% Greek Yogurt and set aside.
  • In a skillet, mix the coffee and coffee liqueur and heat. Dissolve the corn syrup in the hot coffee mixture.
  • When the chocolate has melted, pour in the coffee mixture and add the nuts and broken cookies.
  • Start to gently fold the cream and FAGE® Total 0% Greek Yogurt into the chocolate mixture.
  • When the cream and FAGE® Total 0% Greek Yogurt are completely mixed with the chocolate, pour into a cake mold and refrigerate for 12 hours.
