Chocolate Cake with Almond Pines

  • 3 cups semi-dark chocolate chips
  • 390 grams condensed milk
  • 55 grams unsalted butter
  • 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cups chocolate, for baking
  • 3 cups almonds, without skin and filleted
  • 1 chocolate cake

  • Place the chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, salt, and vanilla extract in a microwave-safe bowl.
  • Put the bowl in the microwave for 30 seconds and mix until the chocolate chips have melted and are integrated with the other ingredients.
  • Cover the bowl with plastic wrap for 45 minutes until it is firm enough to form balls.
  • Form small balls from the mixture using an ice cream scoop so that they are all the same size.
  • Knead each ball a little and stretch the tips slightly. Place them on a flat surface lined with wax paper.
  • Melt the baking chocolate and dip the tips of the sliced almonds.
  • Stick them onto the chocolate ball starting from the bottom up to give it the shape of a pine.
  • Refrigerate for 30 minutes and use it to decorate the chocolate cake.
