Cold Italian Cake

This is a family recipe that has been passed down from generation to generation. We were a large family, so my mother would make this cake for every celebration we had. It is an easy and quick recipe to prepare, as it doesn’t require baking, and it is also very delicious. I hope you enjoy our family tradition just as we have over the years.

  • 5 packages muffin, walnut
  • 1 envelope cornstarch , chocolate flavor
  • 3/4 cups sweet sherry
  • 2 whipping cream, ,sweetened to taste
  • 1 cup nut , chopped

  • Prepare the chocolate custard according to the package instructions.
  • On a plate, place a layer of cake and soak with sherry; add a layer of chocolate custard, cover with more cake. Repeat the process until you finish with the ingredients.
  • Decorate with whipped cream and walnuts. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
