2 cups self-rising flour
1 cup sugar
100 grams lard, softened
2 eggs
shredded coconuts
chocolates, for the topping
200 grams quince

Place the two cups of flour and form a well.
Place the sugar and the softened butter. Combine these two until forming a consistency similar to a cream.
Then pour in the two eggs and start combining with the flour.
Form a consistent dough.
Cut the dough into two parts (not equal), keeping in mind that one will be for the strips and the other for the mold.
Place part of the dough in a greased and floured mold.
Add the previously mashed or crushed quince paste with a little hot water.
Make strips that are not too thick and place them vertically and horizontally.
Bake at 180ºC for about 20 minutes or until the dough is barely golden.
Remove and let cool.
Melt the couverture chocolate and cover the pasta frola.
Decorate the edges with grated coconut.
