Cinnamon Cake

I love this recipe, as it was one of the first I made, it is simple and easy to make with kids, and the whole family enjoys it, and the cinnamon flavor is exquisite. A perfect preparation to accompany with a nice coffee or tea.

  • 250 grams flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon, ground
  • 250 grams sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 250 milliliters cow's milk
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 125 grams unsalted butter , melted

  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
  • Sift the flour with the baking powder and cinnamon and transfer to a pot with the sugar.
  • Beat the eggs and milk with the salt and transfer to the pot with the flour and sugar, working quickly with a spoon until the lumps disappear.
  • Incorporate the butter and pour the mixture into a previously greased and floured rectangular or circular mold, bake at 180°C for 30 minutes.
  • Let it cool and unmold. Ready to enjoy.
