Blend the Huevos San Juan®, oil, milk, and vanilla until all ingredients are combined. Then, gradually add the sugar, flour, and baking soda, continuing to blend until a homogeneous mixture forms.
Divide the mixture into 5 equal parts, each part should weigh approximately 300 g.
Paint each part with food coloring: one turquoise, another neon green, another lemon yellow, another purple, and finally, the last one bright red.
Pour each colored mixture into round molds, all the same size, previously greased, and bake at 180 °C for approximately 25 minutes.
Remove the cakes from the oven, let them cool to room temperature, and unmold. If necessary, level the cakes with a serrated knife to ensure they are the same size. Set aside.
For the frosting: beat the cream with a hand mixer until it doubles in volume. Once achieved, lower the speed and gradually add the cream cheese and sugar until completely combined. Set aside ¾ cup of the frosting and tint it with black food coloring. Refrigerate.
To assemble the cake: place the purple cake as the base, then add a layer of frosting, arrange the lemon yellow cake, another layer of frosting, the neon green cake, another layer of frosting, the turquoise cake, another layer of frosting, and finish with the red cake. Cover the cake with a light layer of frosting. Freeze for 15 minutes.
Cover the cake with more white frosting until it is completely smooth, and if necessary, add another layer and let the cake rest in the freezer for 10 minutes. It is very important to keep it very cold so it doesn't lose its shape. Then, decorate the surface with rosettes made from the same frosting and freeze for 20 minutes.
Cut two slices of the cake, place them on separate plates, and now it's time to outline the edges of the comic cake with the black frosting. You can use a paper cone for better control. The combination and contrast of colors give the comic cake its cartoonish effect, you will love it!
