Fondant Cake for Birthdays

Delicious fondant cake for birthdays, this recipe is for chocolate cakes covered with a delicious chocolate marshmallow fondant, surprise the guest of honor with this cake.

  • 1 stick chocolate
  • 2 packages marshmallow
  • 500 grams icing sugar
  • 2 tablespoons edible glycerin
  • 2 boxes chocolate cake mix, and the ingredients required by the box

  • Prepare the cake as directed on the box, mixing each box's mixture in a separate container.
  • Pour the mixture into two or three molds of different sizes: one larger, one medium, and one small.
  • Preheat the oven to 180ºC (350ºF) for 35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Remove cakes from the oven. Set aside.
  • For the fondant: In a bowl over a double boiler, melt the marshmallows along with the chocolate completely.
  • In another bowl, put the powdered sugar and add the melted marshmallows.
  • Gently fold together until forming a sort of dough. NOTE: It is very sticky!
  • Remove the cake from the largest mold and cover it with the fondant, then unmold the second cake on top of the large one and cover it, unmold the third cake on top and cover. If you need more fondant, you can make more to decorate the cake with figurines; you can add different colors.
