Meringue with Cream and Strawberries

Delicious cake made with meringue, accompanied by cream and strawberries.

  • 7 egg whites
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 1/2 cups walnuts, chopped
  • 2 packages salty cracker, crushed
  • 1 package Philadelphia® cream cheese
  • 250 milliliters whipping cream, well chilled
  • 3/4 cups icing sugar
  • strawberries, washed and disinfected

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C, and grease a round removable mold.
  • Beat the egg whites with the baking powder, and once they are firm, add the vanilla and the 2 cups of sugar.
  • Once the mixer is turned off, fold in the nuts and cookies gently.
  • The mixture is poured into the mold and baked for 30 to 35 minutes.
  • Separately, beat the cream cheese along with the whipping cream, gradually incorporating the powdered sugar.
  • We let the meringue cool completely and transfer it to a serving platter.
  • Whipped cream is placed on top and decorated with sliced strawberries.
