Strawberry Cake with Chocolate Chips

  • 1/2 cups Santa Clara® whole milk
  • 3 tablespoons Santa Clara® strawberry yogurt
  • 1 1/2 cups flour
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter , at room temperature
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon liquid vanilla
  • 1/3 cups chocolate chips
  • 2 cups strawberry , washed and disinfected
  • 1/4 cups powdered sugar, for decoration

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C. Grease and flour a round cake pan.
  • Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt through a sieve. In another bowl, mix the butter, Strawberry Yogurt Santa Clara®, and sugar. Beat until well combined.
  • Add the egg, vanilla, and Whole Milk Santa Clara®, gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the wet ones while mixing, and gently fold in the chocolate chips.
  • Pour the mixture into the greased pan and spread it with a spoon. Cut the strawberries in half and arrange them on top of the mixture in the pan.
  • Bake at 180°C for 1 hour or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool completely before unmolding. Sprinkle a little powdered sugar on top and serve.
