Cake with Pancake Flour on Stove

Having homemade cake for dessert will be very easy with this pancake flour cake recipe. This way of preparing it is very practical, as you don't necessarily need an oven and you can use the pancake flour you have in the pantry. Additionally, the fruits used are easy to find and it only requires powdered sugar for decoration. Cover the cake with aluminum foil if you want it to cook faster. It is very important to control the temperature so it doesn't burn on the bottom.

  • 4 cups pancake mix
  • 2 1/2 cups cow's milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1/4 cups butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence
  • 1 tablespoon orange zest

  • icing sugar

  • Mix the flour with the milk, egg, sugar, butter, vanilla, and orange zest; beat until everything is perfectly integrated.
  • Pour the mixture into a greased mold up to ¾ full and, on top, arrange the strawberry, banana, and chocolate chips to decorate the cake.
  • Place in a pot and add water to cook in a water bath, on low heat, for 40 minutes. Remove from heat and let cool; unmold.
  • Decorate with powdered sugar, serve, and enjoy.
