Oreo Tiramisu

Do you want to make a different dessert for Christmas that is also a perfect recipe for kids? This Oreo Tiramisu is what you are looking for. We took the traditional tiramisu recipe and adapted it to make it fun and more chocolatey. For this Oreo Tiramisu dessert, you don’t need to use your oven; being a cold dessert, you only have to whip the ingredients, place them in the mold, and wait for it to chill.   • 2 cups cream cheese, cut into cubes, for the mascarpone cream
  • 1 cup mascarpone cheese, for mascarpone cream
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence, for mascarpone cream
  • 1/2 cups icing sugar, for mascarpone cream
  • 1 cup water, hot, for dipping cookies
  • 1/2 cups instant coffee, for dipping cookies
  • 1/2 cups coffee liqueur, for dipping cookies
  • 3 cups OREO cookies, and some crushed for decoration

  • For the cream, beat the cheeses with the vanilla essence and sugar until you achieve a smooth mixture.
  • In a bowl, mix the water with the instant coffee and coffee liqueur. Dip the Oreo cookies in the mixture and place them in a baking dish to form a base.
  • Spread with the mascarpone cream and cover with more cookies. Repeat until the baking dish is full and you have several layers.
  • Decorate with more mascarpone cream in the shape of a bonbon, sprinkle crushed cookies. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
