Simple Easter Cake

This simple Easter cake will surprise you with how easy it is to make and how delicious it tastes. Prepare it and enjoy it as much as I do.

  • 2 cups pancake mix
  • 1 cup cow's milk
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 250 grams chocolate

  • Preheat the oven to 180ºC. Beat the butter until softened in an electric mixer. Once it's soft, add the sugar and mix well.
  • Add the eggs and one cup of flour, let everything incorporate well. Then add the milk and vanilla and let it mix into the batter. Finally, add the other cup of flour and beat until everything is well combined.
  • Butter and flour a cake pan or bundt pan. Pour the cake mixture into the pan 3/4 full and bake for 30 minutes.
  • While the cake is baking, melt the chocolate in a water bath.
  • Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool.
  • Pour the melted chocolate over the cake and add some sugar butterflies, then place the cake in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes so the chocolate hardens.
