Grease and flour a cake mold, and place a layer of parchment paper at the bottom of the mold.
Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Beat the egg whites to stiff peaks with half of the sugar and set aside.
Beat the egg yolks with the other half of the sugar until pale, add the vanilla, beat until combined and set aside.
Sift the flour together with the baking powder and set aside.
Incorporate the beaten yolks into the stiff egg whites and add part of the sifted flour mixture, gently folding it in, then add the other half of the flour and carefully fold until everything is well combined.
Pour into the already greased and floured mold, bake for 25 to 30 minutes or until it is slightly golden and a toothpick comes out clean when inserted.
Remove from the oven, let it cool for 5 minutes, and unmold, removing the parchment paper from the bottom of the cake and letting it cool completely.
For the three milks, in the blender, combine the milks with the vanilla and blend, then pour over the cooled cake until the mixture is finished.
For the frosting, whip the cream until peaks form and gradually add the powdered sugar, continuing to whip until a creamy mixture is obtained.
Decorate the cake with the frosting and cherries.
