Cream the butter until smooth and creamy.
Incorporate the sugar and continue beating until well integrated.
Add the eggs one by one, waiting for them to integrate before adding the next.
Add the vanilla.
On the other hand, mix the salt, baking powder, flour, and sift.
Gradually incorporate the dry ingredients into the mixture and finally the milk.
Pour the mixture into the molds and bake for 30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
Unmold and let it rest overnight.
Instructions for the Buttercream:
Cream the butter in a mixer.
Gradually incorporate the powdered sugar without stopping to mix.
Add the vanilla and the milk.
Divide the buttercream into 3 parts and add a food coloring of your chosen color, giving different shades to each one.
Once your cake is cool, it's time to start decorating.
On a cake base, place a little buttercream; this is to ensure that the cake does not move when you place it there.
Place the cake on the base and cover the entire surface with a lighter colored buttercream. You can help yourself with a spatula.
By rotating the base and using the spatula, you need to make the surface as even and smooth as possible.
To make the rosettes, place the buttercream with different colors in two piping bags using the appropriate tip to make them. Start placing the rosettes with the darker color from the bottom to the top, covering the whole cake.
