Cappuccino Ring

This ring is an ideal combination to enjoy as a dessert at any time of the day. This easy recipe results in a fluffy and soft dessert with a touch of milk and coffee, it's a classic!

  • 1 1/2 cups Classic Gamesa® delicacies, 125 g
  • 1/2 cups milk, 120 ml, warm
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 4 eggs, 250 g
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar, 250 g
  • 1 cup vegetable oil, 240 ml
  • 1 cup flour, 125 g
  • 1 teaspoon salt, 4 g
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder, 4 g
  • 1/2 cups milk, for the glaze
  • 1/8 cups espresso coffee, for the glaze
  • 1 1/2 cups icing sugar, for the glaze

  • Using a blender, grind the Delicias de Gamesa® Clásicas for 1 minute until a powder forms.
  • Mix the warm milk with the instant coffee.
  • For the pound cake, beat the egg and sugar with a whisk, pour in the milk and oil in a steady stream while continuing to whisk until fully combined; add the wheat flour and ground Delicias de Gamesa® Clásicas, salt, and baking powder, and beat until fully incorporated and you observe a smooth and shiny batter.
  • Pour the mixture into a pound cake mold and bake at 180 °C for 25 minutes.
  • For the glaze, mix the milk from step 2 with the espresso coffee and powdered sugar until a semi-thick paste forms.
  • Remove the pound cake from the mold, decorate with the glaze, and place coffee beans on top.
