Caramelized Banana Pudding

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 6 bananas
  • 4 eggs
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 1 cup cow's milk
  • 3 cups wheat flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder , royal
  • 1 cup sugar , for the caramel

  • In an electric mixer, beat the eggs, butter, and sugar well until a cream forms.
  • Add the milk and wheat flour gradually and alternately. Beat until all ingredients are combined, add the baking powder and mix gently. Set the mixture aside.
  • In a mold, place the sugar and cook it until it turns into caramel, then carefully use it to coat the bottom and sides of a tube pan.
  • Place the bananas over the caramel, if necessary, add more bananas and pour the mixture you set aside.
  • Take the pudding to the oven and let it cook for 30 to 35 minutes.
