2 teaspoons baking powder
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon salt
4 eggs
1 1/2 cups vegetable oil
3 cups carrot, grated
1 1/2 cups walnuts, chopped
2 packages cream cheese, for the frosting
1 stick butter, at room temperature (for the frosting)
450 grams icing sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence, for the frosting
1/2 cups walnuts, chopped (for decoration)

Preheat the oven to 180°C.
Grease and flour 3 round cake pans of 22 cm in diameter.
In a bowl, mix the flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Add the eggs and oil.
Using a hand electric mixer, beat until well combined.
Add the grated carrot and chopped walnuts.
Pour the mixture into the 3 cake pans and bake in the preheated oven for 40 minutes.
Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
Remove from the mold and let cool before applying the frosting.
Prepare the frosting: mix the cream cheese with the butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract using an electric mixer.
Spread the frosting on each layer of the cake and around the sides. Decorate with chopped walnuts around or sprinkled on top.
