Cheese and Coffee Cake

A rich recipe for chocolate cheesecake for coffee or a birthday.

  • 25 OREO cookies
  • 1/3 cups unsalted butter
  • 1/2 cups kahlua, Coffee liquor
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 4 sticks cream cheese
  • 1/3 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons instant coffee
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla essence

  • In a food processor, combine the cookies and the melted butter until a pie dough is made.
  • In a 25 cm pie pan press the dough to cover the entire base of the mold and raise the edges up to 1 cm, refrigerate.
  • In a small saucepan, boil the Kahlua over medium heat for 10 minutes. Get out of the fire.
  • Preheat the oven to 180 degrees centigrade.
  • A bain marie melts the chocolate sparks.
  • In a food processor mix Kahlua, cream cheese, sugar, eggs, coffee, vanilla and melted chocolate.
  • Pour the cheese mixture over the pie crust and bake for 60 minutes or until the top looks almost dry.
  • Remove from the oven and allow to cool before serving.
